To drive social-technological entrepreneurship and foster innovation in the sector, the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona is allocating a budget of €150,000 to be distributed among subsidized projects. The overarching objective is to promote a program of grants and contributions aimed at developing initiatives and innovation challenges for new entrepreneurs and established companies that undertake projects with social returns.
The application for the call is open to:
- Individuals or legal entities residing in one of the 36 municipalities of the AMB.
- Companies with innovative projects requiring funding for pilot tests, prototypes, or the design of new products.
- Entities engaged in social innovation practices, solutions in the technological, environmental, and health sectors.
- Circular economy models.
