Last Friday, December 19, ERIA, the corporate venturing arm of the Estabanell Group, held its Demo Day at Attico Barcelona with the goal of consolidating pilots, validating proposals, and establishing strategic partnerships. The event marked the conclusion of the second edition of ERIA’s Acceleration Program, in which four startups have been developing real and scalable solutions to challenges in energy generation, distribution, and commercialization. During this period, the startups collaborated with Estabanell’s teams, supported by AticcoLab’s mentor network and €10,000 in non-repayable funding to advance their projects.

The participating startups were:

  • Wattium, which developed high-power energy storage batteries with ultra-fast charging to improve the stability and flexibility of the current electricity grid.
  • eRoots, which offers intelligent software to optimize autonomous network planning and operations, enhancing system visibility and efficiency.
  • Clevergy, with its Energy as a Service (EaaS) platform, aimed at energy retailers and installers to provide an attractive value proposition to final customers.
  • 4BlueTech, which works on carbon neutrality solutions for the B2B sector using advanced biotechnology with microalgae and bacteria to capture CO₂ and NOx.

In addition to the external startups, the event featured the participation of internal talent from the Estabanell Group, with Sil·lis, the finalist team of the Pioners2150 intrapreneurship program. The Sil·lis project focuses on circular economy initiatives within the group, applying artificial intelligence and 3D modeling to optimize the design of electrical installations and reduce waste.

The Demo Day highlighted the importance of collaboration among different stakeholders to drive a more sustainable and innovative energy future, demonstrating that working together is key to turning value propositions into viable projects that strengthen business and advance the energy sector.
