Estabanell (member of Lab3040) has been recognized as one of the 10 most disruptive companies in Catalonia, according to ACCIÓ, for the creation of ERIA and Energy in the Cloud.
This recognition is part of the Catalonia Exponential Leaders program, which highlights the most innovative companies for their ability to generate a positive impact on society beyond business. In Estabanell’s case, the recognition is due to the creation of ERIA, its Corporate Venturing vehicle, and the development of Energy in the Cloud, its spinoff startup that promotes a more flexible, digital, and resilient energy management model.

Granollers, July 16, 2025. – Estabanell has been recognized as one of the 10 most disruptive companies in Catalonia as part of the Catalonia Exponential Leaders program promoted by ACCIÓ, the agency for business competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia. The recognition was awarded for the creation of ERIA, its Corporate Venturing vehicle that connects startup innovation with the business group, and for the launch of Energy in the Cloud, the company’s spinoff that enables more efficient management of electricity distribution networks.
The recognition was announced this Wednesday during the seventh edition of the Exponential Day, an event organized by ACCIÓ to highlight the impact of organizations that lead the transformation of their sectors through innovation, strategic agility, and the ability to anticipate major global challenges.
Estabanell was selected for its strong commitment to both internal and open innovation, energy transition, and digitalization as pillars of growth and sustainability. This commitment materialized in 2024 with the launch of ERIA, the open innovation vehicle that connects the startup ecosystem with Estabanell, and the creation of Energy in the Cloud, the company’s spinoff startup that has developed proprietary technology to stabilize energy distribution networks—both within the group and for third parties—at a time of energy transition and changing consumer relationships with energy.
